Advocate Family Law Group History: Law & Oinker

Adjacent to our office entry is ‘Law & Oinker’, Advocate Family Law Group’s own version of Blind Justice for our local ‘Pigs in the City’ celebration of the barbecue town. Pigs in the City is a public art initiative coordinated by Uptown Lexington, Inc., a non-profit organization created to revitalize the "uptown" area of Lexington. It enhances the annual Lexington BBQ Festival event held each October in the business district of Lexington, North Carolina which is the self-proclaimed Barbecue Capital of the World. It is part of a larger downtown revitalization effort which has gained attention due its unusual artistic display of full-size ornamental pigs and draws visitors from all over North Carolina. They stroll and take pictures of the many themed pigs throughout the uptown area.
